Marcus Pibworth
Storyteller
Welcome, traveller. Whether you’ve arrived here by chance or followed the thread of a story through the wild woods of the web, I’m glad you’ve arrived.
I’m a performance storyteller based in the wild foothills of the Black Mountains, West Herefordshire, who shares folktales, myths, and wonder tales that speak to timeless truths and the magic of being human. My style is heartfelt, a little anarchic, sometimes chaotic, and always rooted in genuine connection.
I’ve honed my craft under the guidance of many experienced storytelling mentors, blending tradition with a raw, personal edge. Alongside this, I work with story as a way to help people feel heard, seen, and more connected—to themselves, to others, and to the natural world. I run workshops and gatherings, often in wild or outdoor spaces, where real-life stories are shared in honest, open settings.
I believe storytelling is a deeply human tool that helps us make sense of who we are and reminds us of our place in the web of life.
